The district strives to support all students to reach their individual potential. Selecting courses for senior high school
is one of the most important educational choices a young person can make. The course selections made in Grade 9, and
whether a student completes an honours/academic or general program at the senior high level, can significantly impact
his or her post-secondary and career choices after graduation. For assistance in selecting high school courses students
should consult with the school guidance counselor.
